Experience freedom as you shed the shackles of fear to realize the joy of discovering who you are as you blossom into your
authentic self.

I'm Leslie
Hello, and welcome to my website! I am a former high-school English teacher, splitting my teaching years between Arizona and Taiwan. I enjoy time spent reading historical fiction, going to a movie on a Saturday morning, and relaxing with friends at the pool. Those who know me, know that my heart belongs to my wonderful nieces and nephews. I love watching them grow and am grateful to be a part of their lives.
I am passionate about and enjoying my role as a life coach. It's something I've spent a long time preparing for, I guess you could say my entire life! I have a deep and experience-driven belief that truth truly is freedom-giving. And that freedom, in all its capacities, is so, so good and so, so real.
My Journey
Around 26, it became clear that something within me wasn't quite right. I saw how my peers navigated life—relationships, careers, self-perception, romance, their futures—with a seemingly effortless success. Despite my best efforts to conceal my own struggles, I recognized a common thread: my limitations in these areas stemmed from fear.
This realization marked my starting point: lost, yet moving forward! For years, I took leaps of faith, determined to solve the puzzle of myself. Curiosity became my compass, self-belief my guide, and the pursuit of truth my driving force. With help from God, trusted loved ones, and healers - doors began to open.
My healing journey took me through valleys of shame and across terrains of fear-driven behaviors, each step revealing the abuse I experienced, beginning in early childhood. I learned that those of us who have endured such trauma in our formative years often develop fear-based beliefs as a survival mechanism. These beliefs, carried into adulthood, remain largely unrecognized, yet they sabotage our ability to live truthful and purpose-filled lives.
Throughout my healing process, my personal mantra became, "What's next?" After peeling back each layer, after every breakthrough, I'd ask myself: "What's next?" This question served as both motivator and cheerleader, sustaining me through difficult times, even allowing me to celebrate moments of freedom and accomplishment.
Does any of this resonate with you? Is your true self hidden? Are you governed by fear-based beliefs rooted in childhood or adolescent abuse related trauma? Perhaps you recognize some of these patterns:
-
Detrimental people-pleasing
-
Role-playing (feeling the need to be a certain person around certain people)
-
Believing love is conditional and/or that you are unworthy of love
-
A lack of self-knowledge (not knowing your interests, hobbies, likes/dislikes, desires, or goals)
If this sounds like you, and you're ready to reclaim your power, to move from victim to victor, and to open doors to the beautiful and fulfilling opportunities that await you, then it's time to ask yourself: What's next?
If you're inclined, schedule a consultation. I'd love to speak with you.
